


I’m 40, a mum of three kids aged 16, 13 and 8, and a former primary school teacher of 15 years. I know exactly how it feels to juggle work, family, and trying to look after yourself — only to keep falling to the bottom of the list.
After my third baby, I'd lost my confidence, had no energy, and nothing I tried ever stuck. I'd done the slimming clubs, the celebrity plans, the cutting out, the pushing through. I was either "starting fresh" or giving up — and honestly, I was exhausted by it.
So I stopped chasing quick fixes and started building habits I could actually live with. I lost over 50lbs — not through extremes, but through simple, sustainable changes that fit around my real life.
